Our Day

I believe that routine is important for a child to feel secure in their environment. I will try and vary the activities so that the children will have the opportunity to explore many new and different things, whilst also giving them time to learn to play with others and by themselves.

During the day children will have the opportunity for quiet time, free play and outings to various places such as soft play areas, the park and toddler groups, as well as structured play, such as arts and crafts, music time or cooking. We also like to go further afield and visit local farms and have days out at Arundel park and Brighton.

Depending on other children attending my setting we will also take and collect children from school.

I have a wide range of toys and equipment suitable for all ages which will help develop various skills such as:

  • Role play
  • Baking
  • Painting
  • Arts and crafts
  • Messy play
  • Mark making
  • Dressing up

Activities and Outings:

  • Parks
  • Library
  • Gardening
  • Music group
  • Beach
  • Singing, music, dance
  • Soft play

I have a fully enclosed, secure garden with both grass and patio areas, where children can explore play and do gardening activities. Outdoor equipment includes

slide, trampoline, see-saw and sand/water.
